Linking your own smartstore store with MolliePay

To access MolliePay's features in Smartstore, store operators need to access the navigation menu. About Plugins > Manage Plugins and users will reach the option Upload Plugin . The MolliePaY plugin can be selected and clicked on Upload & Install to add it to the plugin list . If the plugin does not appear there, reload the list.

After clicking Install the plugin will be available for use in the store. Under Configuration > Payment Types is MolliePay is listed. In this area store owners can activate or deactivate the plugin.

Under Configure the individual Live API key can be entered. To access this store operators must log in to https://my.mollie.com/dashboard/login?Lang=en login.
At the same time, this step provides the option to activate the respective booked payment options in the Smartstore backend.
Test the optimized checkout process
Next, check whether the plugin works properly in your store. For this, you have the option of performing a test payment with MolliePay using the Test API key.

Add any product from your store to the cart and simulate a purchase by proceeding to checkout. Select under the step Payment the payment method MolliePay

Select the checkbox.

In the next step, you will be redirected to Mollie's checkout. There you will see the order amount and the test payment notice. The order will now appear in the store backend under Sales > Orders .
Here you as the store operator can also manually edit the status of the order.
