Now the time has come: OpenAI offers German users the extended "ChatGPT Plus" subscription (we reported at the beginning of February). The price: $23.80 per month, including 19 percent VAT. The free ChatGPT is still available. However, subscription customers get faster responses and improved "artificial intelligence" availability.
Incidentally, the payment mechanism for the ChatGPT Plus subscription runs via the provider Stripe, to which there has recently (Smartstore 5.0.2) also been an integration for Smartstore store operators. Users can pay for their Plus subscription with various cards or Apple Pay and cancel their subscription at any time. Likewise, there is a payment option for business customers, with deposit of the VAT ID number.
