ECJ: Labeling of the order button must clearly indicate payment obligation

The button solution introduced throughout Europe with the Consumer Rights Directive (CRD) on June 13, 2014 has already been in force in Germany since August 2012. The ECJ (judgment of 7.4.2022 - C-249/21) has now ruled that the consumer's obligation to pay must be explicitly stated on the label and that the circumstances of the ordering process are not to be taken into account.
