Smartstore-Kunden benefit from an end-to-end, industry-specific SaaS offering.

As part of their partnership, Smartstore and Microsoft combine their services to utilize Microsoft Azure Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS).

Smartstore customers can now benefit from the leading e-commerce technology as a scalable solution on Microsoft's Azure cloud platform.

Smartstore in the cloud is a must, especially for growth-oriented SMEs that want to boost their online business. The advantages of this approach are the simple and fast implementation of an e-commerce project, the very flexible scalability of the solution, usage-based billing, an extremely low equity commitment and a very high level of reliability without having to maintain your own IT resources.

As part of international distribution, the application and data can be hosted where they are needed geographically. All in all, companies can realize an ROI (return on investment) within a very short time and thus open up new sales channels and clearly differentiate themselves from their competitors.

With the in-house Smartstore Order Management System (SOMS) further industry-specific solutions are made available in the cloud, including Dynamics NAV.

Pavlos Tsulfaidis, CEO of Smartstore AG, sees great potential in the collaboration: "The joint offering from Smartstore and Microsoft, based on the Azure platform, impresses with its combination of leading, proven technology and extreme flexibility with minimal investment costs. Companies are free to choose which connections they want for their individual solution, for which regions they want to make this sales channel available and how much volume they want to run through it - depending on their needs and sales strategy.

All in all, SMEs can find several answers to current challenges with Azure and Smartstore in the cloud. Smartstore customers therefore benefit from the scalability and flexibility of Microsoft Azure and the global Microsoft cloud platform, which really comes into its own in the e-commerce sector with its high time-to-market requirements. Microsoft thus guarantees that the cloud environment is accessible from 99,95% per year. The sophisticated disaster recovery functions of Microsoft Azure contribute to this, among other things. In other words: If your own cloud server goes down, you won't even notice in the best-case scenario because you can continue operating seamlessly."
