Do you know what your store customers are currently searching for on their smartstore? With Search Log it’s no problem to find out. Search Log logs search queries in the Shop Search function and offers store operators a hit list of the top search terms, separated by multishop and language.
Marketing insights from customer searches
With knowledge of customer searches in your own store search (we’re not talking about searches in external search engines like Google), you can react to trends up to date and adjust your marketing inside and outside the store and fuel it with new buying impulses.

Some important Search Log use cases:
Do your customers really find everything they are looking for? Perhaps customers have their own words for items that you text quite differently in the store.
How to react: in MegaSearch, add these customer words as “synonyms” so that the search lands a hit. Or change your item descriptions.
Are there seasonally particularly strong searches? For example, “ski” towards winter, which is completely obvious here and is obvious anyway. But we are talking about trends, which store operators cannot recognize without a search log.
This is how you can act:
- Enable MegaSearch Plus (from Premium Edition) and Trend search terms are transferred from Serch Log to Mega Search and presented to the customer with matching search entries.
- Longer term, edit the offer, perhaps with a Bundle or promotional price to convert the strong search traffic into sales.
- Content Marketing with the Page Builder (Marketplace) is also recommended, for example for the purpose of developing an attractive landing page for the promising keyword, enriched with an attractive, looping autoplay video.
