Another modern checkout process we offer is the Grab & Go system, which is based on RFID technology. This proven technology is successfully used by Decathlon and allows our customers to quickly and conveniently pay for their sporting goods with the help of RFID tags. These tags are standardly attached to the products. During self-checkout, the RFID tag is read automatically without the customer having to manually hold the product in front of the scanner. This enables lightning-fast scanning of products. It is noteworthy that we use the same hardware from nordic id as Decathlon for deploying RFID.
